The European Union (EU) launched an anti-dumping investigation on February 16, 2023, regarding imports of Electrolytic Manganese Dioxide (EMD) from China. The investigation was prompted by a complaint from Autlan EMD SL, with backing from Tosoh Hellas Single Member S.A. The complaint alleged that Chinese EMD imports were being sold at unfairly low prices, resulting in significant harm to the EU's domestic industry. This investigation seeks to thoroughly examine the matter, encompassing the period from its initiation to the current date.
